Cindy is a corporate M&A lawyer with over 20 years' experience in private practice (with top-tier law firms including Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and Skadden Arps), and in-house at large Australian corporates (including NAB and Telstra).

She has experienced first-hand the challenges associated with complex, time-critical corporate, commercial and regulatory transactions from both sides of the table.

Her role as Deputy General Counsel at MinterEllison has also given Cindy unique insight into the solicitor/client relationship, particularly the cost and risk management dynamics.

Cindy possesses an array of non-traditional legal skills, including multi-stakeholder collaboration (including finance and tax), innovative thinking, emotional intelligence, project management, leadership and mentoring.  These qualities are the foundation of Circa Legal – as excellent legal skills should go without saying.

Cindy also holds the coveted corporate governance and risk management credentials from the Governance Institute of Australia, meaning she can step into a Company Secretariat function with confidence.
